Heal, Thrive And Flourish

Rhulani Foundation is a non profit organisation focusing on mental health care services and career development programmes to women and young people in rural and marginalised communities.

We promote psychological wellbeing and empower individuals through accessible mental health care services and career development programmes, helping them find purpose, and live triumphant lives.

"Mental disorders account for a significant portion of the burden of diseases in South Africa and worldwide. Poor mental health negatively affects not only individuals, but families, communities, societies as well as economies,” Dr S.M. Dhlomo -Deputy Minister of Health - SA

We believe that every young person and woman deserves access to mental health support and career development opportunities, no matter where they come from. Mental health care remains inaccessible in South Africa,
only 1 in every 100 people have the means to access mental health care services.
Unemployment rate remains the highest with young people affected the most.

We provide career developments programmes including career counselling and employability workshops - helping them discover their talents and potential; which empowers them to be economical active even outside the traditional workplace.
